The Venezuelan illegal alien charged with the murder of University of Georgia nursing student Laken Riley is accused of seriously disfiguring her skull by beating her.

Illegal Alien Charged With Brutally Murdering Riley

Jose Antonio Ibarra, 26, allegedly kidnapped and killed Riley while she was out for a run on her college campus. He has been charged with causing great bodily harm using an object and disfiguring her skull. Additionally, he is accused of preventing her from making a 911 call with the intent to harm when he abducted her.

After killing Riley, Ibarra allegedly dragged her body to a secluded area. The murder took place between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. last Thursday, with her body being discovered by police around 1 p.m. that day.

ICE Reveals Ibarra’s History

Jose Antonio Ibarra, a Venezuelan national, crossed into the U.S. near El Paso in 2022. He was arrested in New York City the following year but was released before a detainer could be issued. He currently resides in an apartment near where the murder took place.

U.S. Rep. Houston Gaines revealed that Ibarra had a history of shoplifting and had a bench warrant for failing to appear in court. Both Ibarra and his brother are in custody without bond.

Riley’s Loved Ones Mourn Her

Riley transferred to Augusta University School of Nursing last year. Her family described her as an amazing individual with a strong faith in God. They requested privacy to mourn her tragic death and stated that she will be honored at a funeral on Friday.

This tragic incident highlights the consequences of open borders under the Biden administration. Our thoughts and prayers are with Riley’s loved ones during this difficult time.
