The federal jury ordered Donald Trump to pay $83.3 million in damages to E. Jean Carroll in her defamation suit against him. Carroll mentioned her plans to go on a shopping spree with the money, but her lawyer appeared nervous during her comments. Carroll also suggested she might donate the money to causes that Trump dislikes, such as a fund for women who have been sexually assaulted by him. In a separate interview, Carroll said she wants to move past her case and focus on fighting Trump on policy. She emphasized that the fight is now about standing up for all women who have been assaulted.
