President Joe Biden’s administration is reportedly tracking all individuals who traveled to Washington, DC on January 6, 2021, regardless of whether they were present at the Capitol Hill riot that day. According to Sonya LaBosco, the director of the Air Marshal National Council, the Travel and Security Administration (TSA) has requested that air marshals track these individuals, even though they have not committed any crimes. This has led to air marshals focusing solely on tracking these individuals rather than their regular missions. LaBosco stated that those who traveled to the Capitol region in January 2021, even for non-protest reasons such as job interviews or family visits, have been put on a special list, with air marshals assigned to follow them. This has raised concerns about potential privacy and surveillance issues, as even innocent individuals have been subjected to enhanced security measures and surveillance. This situation highlights the need to support and share reliable sources of information during times of government overreach.
