DC Prostitution Ring Busts High-Profile Figures

Washington, DC, is no stranger to sex scandals, particularly large-scale prostitution rings explicitly geared to the elite political power players in the Beltway. This week, federal prosecutors announced the arrest of three individuals responsible for the operation of one such high-end brothel service in the DC metro area.

The details on the types of men who utilized the sexual services provided by this prostitution enterprise are disturbing, and the hoops the men jumped through to receive access are even more jaw-dropping.

The question remains: With many still asking what happened to Ghislaine Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein’s client list, what is it about these men and this sex-for-cash operation that has the Department of Justice interested?

Quite the enterprise

Three people were arrested in connection to running a prostitution ring managed out of various luxury apartments in Boston and the DC metro area.

The locations near the nation’s Capital included McLean, Tysons Corner, and Fairfax. These northern Virginia suburbs are merely a hop, jump, or metro ride away from the center of American politics and power.

The 60-page affidavit described the clientele as coming from various powerful industries including politicians, military officers, professors, lawyers, pharmaceutical and technology company executives, scientists, and government contractors. All precisely the kinds of people one would find in the Beltway.

To partake in this illicit sex ring, buyers had to complete applications not unlike what you might find on job search sites. Buyers had to include their names, addresses, employers, and “references if they had one.”

They could opt to pay a monthly membership fee to pre-clear them for sexual services. After all, a potential ‘john’ wouldn’t want a bad reference to ruin their chances at access.

Might as well opt for the recurring subscription, a sort of Amazon Prime for commercial sex purchases.

Double standard

Former prosecutor Lauren Hersh said of the long list of men who used these services:

The accountability aspect remains to be seen. Former federal prosecutor Neama Rahmani believes that the clients will likely receive probation for their crimes.

Meanwhile, former President Donald Trump has been indicted four times in one year. Yet, it would appear the ‘johns’ who paid for sex from women coerced into the business will get a slap on the wrist—men who wield considerable power over politics, defense, and policy.

Republican Senator Marsha Blackburn has issued a subpoena for the flight logs of what has been called the “Lolita Express,” stating:

“Given the numerous allegations of human trafficking and abuse surrounding Mr. Epstein, we’ve got to identify everyone who could have participated in his horrific conduct.”

Will the client list for this latest D.C. Bordello go public? Or will it find its way into the same black hole as the Epstein client list?
