Formerly Expelled Congress Member George Santos Exposes Colleagues’ Secrets

Former House Representative George Santos, who was expelled last week, plans to file ethics complaints against four colleagues, including Republican Reps. Mike Lawler, Nick LaLota, Nicole Malliotakis, and Democratic Rep. Robert Menendez. Santos took to social media to announce his intention to seek revenge on his way out of Congress by filing these ethics complaints. He accused Malliotakis of benefiting from insider knowledge on stock trades and accused Lawler of questionable campaign finance violations related to his ownership of Checkmate Strategies. He also alleged that Lalota was paid for a no-show job while attending law school and demanded an investigation into potential links between Menendez and his father’s alleged corrupt actions. Despite Santos’ criminal charges and expulsion, some people find joy in his actions as he targets his former colleagues. He has now turned to selling messages on Cameo, the celebrity and influencer video app. Despite his expulsion and federal charges, Santos maintains his innocence and pleads not guilty.
