Hillary Clinton Calls Tucker Carlson a ‘Useful Idiot’ for Putin Despite Her Own Russia Relations

Hillary Clinton believes that an interview by Tucker Carlson with Russian President Vladimir Putin is an apparent evidence that he is a “useful idiot.” Carlson’s interview has sparked anger among left-wing politicians who believe the war with Ukraine is as significant as the American Revolution and media outlets who are envious that they couldn’t secure an interview with a consequential world leader themselves. The interview, which airs on Thursday, takes place in Moscow and will be the first one-on-one with a Western journalist since the start of the Ukraine war in 2022. Carlson has stated his reasoning for the sit-down with Putin, saying it is partly because he believes Western media is lying to the American people, a nearly undeniable notion on every topic put out on broadcasts in the past decade. “Their media outlets are corrupt. They lie to their readers and viewers, and they do that mostly by omission,” Carlson said. “We are not here because we love Vladimir Putin,” he added. “We are here because we love the United States, and we want it to remain prosperous and free.” Hillary Clinton complained about the interview with Putin, via media, she voiced against Carlson for allegedly “parroting” Putin, implying Carlson may benefit from “useful idiot.”
“Here’s why we’re doing this: Because it’s our job. We’re in journalism, our job is to inform people.”Thoughts?pic.twitter.com/8rGjdQAwMI— Sulaiman Ahmed (@ShaykhSulaiman) February 6, 2024 RELATED: Hillary Clinton Wants Trump, Americans ‘Called Out’ For ‘Providing Aid And Comfort To Putin’ Clinton Slams Carlson For His Interview With Putin Carlson argues that he is motivated by his duty as a journalist to inform the people as he conducts the interview. While it might seem ironic that Clinton is criticizing the interview for allegedly parroting lies on media, considering her own history of lies, it’s unsurprising given her extensive history of being a useful idiot for Russia. During a 2010 interview on Russian television, then-Secretary of State Clinton revealed that the goal of the Obama administration was to “strengthen Russia.” Two years later, Clinton was again on television and announced that the Obama administration viewed Russia as an ally. Maximize the cooperation? Sounds like a Russian puppy dog. Putin, by the way, was the Prime Minister of Russia during that time and Clinton and Obama issued a “reset” button on Russian relations. Clinton’s effort to paint anyone seeking the truth as doing the bidding of Russia is hypocritical given her own past efforts to work with Russia when she was in power and when she assumed the White House was hers in 2016.
