The late night comedian John Oliver is offering Clarence Thomas $1 million a year and a $2.4 million motor coach to “get the f*** off the Supreme Court.”
According to Daily Mail, Oliver made the offer during Sunday night’s episode of his HBO show “Last Week Tonight,” giving Thomas just thirty days to accept it. This came after an investigation revealed that Thomas allegedly did not declare dozens of lavish trips and expenses paid for by the Republican billionaire Harlan Crow.
Fox News reported that Oliver claims to have spoken to legal experts who allegedly assured him that he was not breaking any laws by offering to pay Thomas.
