Kid Rock Invites Small Towns to Show Patriotism at ‘Rock The Country’ Tour with Jason Aldean

Opinion
Last month, we reported that the conservative country music stars Kid Rock and Jason Aldean had announced that they will be embarking on a “Rock The Country” tour of American small towns in 2024. Now, Kid Rock is opening up about this tour, saying that he wants small town Americans to use it to “come show their patriotism.”

Kid Rock Discusses Upcoming Tour
While appearing on The Tucker Carlson Encounter on Monday, Kid Rock explained why he wanted his next tour to have stops in Small Town America.

“I see a need for a big portion of this country that’s underserved entertainment wise. And that’s pretty prevalent when you see the success of shows like ‘Yellowstone and Duck Dynasty,’ things like that,” he said. “People are just starving for it.”

“So we wanted to go out and give hard-working people that love this country a music festival. Something for them,” he continued. “Come show your patriotism, just like they do at my shows, but do it with a force of people.”

Small Towns ‘Have A Lot More Freedom’
Kid Rock went on to say that his and Aldean’s tour is about giving those in small towns an experience that they might not normally get.

“Just trying to provide something for these smaller towns, where we have a lot more freedom, to do things that we might not be able to do in the bigger cities,” he concluded. “And especially to work with the local people there, whether it could be the police, firefighters, the city councils, whatever.”

Shane Quick, the President of Touring and Strategic Expansion for LiveCo, the company behind the “Rock The Country” tour, feels the same way.

“We’re taking that same mentality of celebrating small town America, celebrating people helping people, and the good nature of small town people,” Quick recently told Whiskey Riff.

“I think we picked seven incredible small towns, that when people come from all over the country to these little small towns, they’re going to experience what we feel like is the best of America,” he added.

‘Rock The Country’ Tour Stops
Kid Rock and Aldean, two proud conservatives who are each close personal friends with the former President Donald Trump, will kick off the “Rock The Country” tour in  Gonzalez, Louisiana on April 5 & 6, 2024. They will then make two day stops each in towns like Ashland, Kentucky, Rome, Georgia, Ocala, Florida, Mobile, Alabama, and Poplar Bluff, Missouri, before ending their tour over the summer in Anderson, South Carolina.

“’Rock The Country’ aims to bring the excitement and energy of a large-scale music festival to small towns across the country,” Quick told FOX Carolina after the tour was announced. “With seven big shows in seven different towns, this event promises to be an experience like never before. Fans can expect a weekend filled with incredible performances, great food, and a sense of community that only small towns can offer.”

Kid Rock and Aldean are two of the only celebrities out there who are unafraid to express their love for America, so this is sure to be a tour to remember. If you’re interested in buying tickets to the “Rock The Country” tour, you can get tickets at rockthecountry.com
