“The Rock” Johnson Reveals Candid Thoughts on Biden and Hollywood

Johnson Admits Truth About Biden And Hollywood

While appearing on “The Joe Rogan Experience” last week, Johnson told host Joe Rogan that he has some friends who support Donald Trump and other friends who support Biden. However, he was quick to clarify what he meant by this.

“When I was a kid, you could have a Republican friend. Like it was no big deal. It’s no big deal. Like, ‘Oh, Bobby likes George Bush. Who cares? Who gives a f—,’” Rogan began. “You know, you were a supporter of Bill Clinton. He liked George Bush. Nobody cared. Nobody like, ‘F— you.’ It wasn’t like, ‘You’re a Nazi.’ ‘What do you mean I’m a Nazi? I just want lower taxes.’”

“What the f— are you talking about?” Johnson asked in agreement, with Rogan questioning, “How did I become a Nazi, you know?”

That’s when Johnson brought up his Hollywood friends.

“It’s the craziest thing,” Johnson said. “I have friends who support Trump. I have friends who support Biden.”

“Do you really have some friends who support Biden?” Rogan interjected to ask, causing Johnson to burst out laughing.

“They support the Democratic Party,” Rogan said.

“I have friends who are loyal to the party,” Johnson declared. “I have friends who are like, f*** it, I’m not voting for either one [Trump or Biden] last election, this election. But it’s that kind of thing, where I would love to see us get to this place where its ok [to disagree].”

Johnson concluded by saying that the American political divide is “unhealthy” for individuals and “just in terms of humanity.”

Johnson Previously Endorsed Biden

,

Johnson has clearly changed his tune on Biden in recent years, as he was quick to endorse him before the 2020 presidential election.

“I’ve never publicly endorsed a presidential candidate or vice presidential candidate in my life,” Johnson said at the time, according to Newsweek. “You guys are both experienced to lead, you’ve done great things. Joe, you’ve had such an incredible career, and you’ve led, in my opinion, with such great compassion, and heart, and drive—but also soul.”

After the election, Johnson posted a video to social media celebrating Biden’s victory.

“My vote represented my little daughters, my vote represented humanity, my vote represented decency, it represented the values and principles we teach our little girls and my vote also, for me, represented the importance of just being a good, decent human being and how important that is,” Johnson said in this video, according to Fox News.

Johnson Approached To Run For President

In his interview with Rogan, Johnson claimed that he’d been approached by a political party that wanted him to run for president himself.

“One of the parties came to visit me at the end of last year, asking for me to run,” Johnson said. “It was, first of all, incredibly f***ing surreal because I was the guy who was, you know, wrestling at flea markets, looking for free corn dogs and hot dogs and s***.

“They had all this data that said that if this happens, here’s the results, and it was really f***ing deep,” he continued. “Then, I started to think, again surreal, because that’s never been my goal. I appreciate it, and I’m f***ing honored. It made me think. It’s either this is an incredible thing, and I got some pretty decent leadership skills, or things are so f***ed up.”

Johnson Rules Out Running For President

Last year, Johnson claimed that he would never run for president, with his children being a major factor in this decision.

“It’s off the table, yes,” Johnson said when asked about this by CBS News. “I will say this: because it requires the b-side to this. I love our country and everyone in it, I also love being a daddy and that’s the most important thing to me is being a daddy, number one.

“Especially during this critical time in my daughter’s lives because I know what it was like to be on the road and be so busy that I was absent for a lot of years when my first daughter was growing up in these critical ages, at this critical time in her life,” he continued. “That’s what the presidency would do, so my number one priority is my daughters. Sure, CEO sounds great but the number one thing I was to be is daddy, that’s it.”

Johnson’s comments about nobody in Hollywood actually supporting Biden is very indicative of how the entire country feels about the president right now. It remains to be seen whether or not the Democrats decide to swap Biden out for a more popular option as we head into the election year.
