FBI director Christopher Wray, after a recent attack in Israel, warned of potential attacks on Americans at home by a terror group and its affiliates. The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) in America has been investigated for its connection to Hamas, which launched the deadly attack. CAIR was enlisted by the Biden administration in May to fight antisemitism, even though its director delivered a speech supporting Hamas shortly after the attack. CAIR’s ties to Hamas are detailed in the 2009 book “Muslim Mafia: Inside the Secret Underworld that’s Conspiring to Islamize America.” The FBI has been frustrated at the political intervention which has prevented it from taking law enforcement action against CAIR. Some FBI agents say that investigating and prosecuting CAIR should have been the FBI’s priority.
